Stuart Watson

Stuart Watson is an investigative reporter at WCNC-TV, the NBC affiliate and Belo-owned station in Charlotte, N.C. Stuart has reported for more than twenty years in local television, mostly in the southeastern U.S. in Mississippi, Tennessee and North Carolina.  Stuart’s reporting has been repeatedly honored with national awards including two duPont Columbia Silver Batons for investigations of military medical malpractice and a chain of Medicaid dental clinics, two Investigative Reporters and Editors awards and three George Foster Peabody awards. Stuart is a native of Albany, Georgia, holds a Bachelors of Arts in English from Vanderbilt University, and has been married for more than 20 years to Lorraine Jivoff, with whom he has four children.
