Renee Fergusan is a general assignment and investigative reporter for WMAQ-TV Chicago, an NBC affiliate. She joined the staff at WMAQ-TV in 1987 after being a correspondent for CBS News, New York and Atlanta. In her 30 years of journalism, she has won seven EMMY awards and five Associated Press Awards among numerous other distinctions, and is involved in several professional organizations including the Chicago Association of Black Journalists and American Women in Journalism. Ferguson has a Bachelor's degree in journalism from Indiana University.
