COLLEEN MENSCHING joined the Redlands Daily Facts in 2003. As the courts and public safety reporter, she received recognition for her gavel-to-gavel coverage of local criminal cases, as well as spot news and trend stories. She switched to reporting on Redlands city government earlier this year, but has not lost her passion for crime coverage and justice issues. She graduated in 2002 from the University of Redlands.
