Hilda Muñoz

HILDA MUÑOZ graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles in 2000. She worked as an editorial assistant/staff writer at the Westside Weekly, a section of the Los Angeles Times, for a few months until the section was discontinued. She interned for several months at the Jersey Journal in Jersey City, N.J., writing obituaries and covering local government and crime. A position in the highly competitive Minority Editorial Training Program brought her back to the Los Angeles Times for a year as a general assignment reporter. For the past three years she has been at the Hartford Courant. Her current beat is cops and courts in New Britain, Conn.
