Julia Reynolds

JULIA REYNOLDS is a criminal justice reporter for the Monterey County Herald. She has reported for PBS, National Public Radio, The Nation and others, and is an associate of the Center for Investigative Reporting. Reynolds has won journalism awards from Investigative Reporters and Editors, New California Media and the World Affairs Council. She was editor of the award-winning Latino magazine El Andar from 1998 to 2002. Recently, she reported and co-produced the PBS documentary “Nuestra Familia, Our Family,” about the effects of gangs on a rural Latino community.
