Heidi Pickman
Independent Radio Producer

Heidi Pickman is an independent radio producer who lives in Santa Monica, California, where she has been producing radio for seven years. Most recently, she was the founding producer of "Weekend America," a weekly public radio magazine program that can be heard nationally on NPR member stations and internationally on the web. Previously to that she was a producer on the "Marketplace Morning Report," the public affairs director at KPFK, Los Angeles, and the producer of "Marc Cooper's Daily Review" and "Radio Nation." Currently, Heidi is the acting Los Angeles Bureau Chief for Youth Radio. She is looking forward to moving from behind the scenes to a more visable, er, audible role in public radio. She has a keen interest in anything do to with Spain.
