M. Elizabeth Roman

M. ELIZABETH ROMAN is a reporter with the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, where she covers breaking news, politics and education while also producing in-depth news features. Roman joined the paper in 2005 after completing a Freedom Forum Diversity Institute Journalism fellowship in connection with Vanderbilt University. Previously, she worked for about four years as a health care policy analyst for a large Boston non-profit. She has also worked for the City of Cambridge, Mass. as a city planner. Roman, who is also a freelance writer, graduated from Oberlin College and Harvard University, where she received a master’s degree in international education policy.
