IJJ’s Justice and Journalism Fund is accepting proposals for support of reporting projects related to complex social justice issues, including immigration and borderlands, race and ethnicity, crime and punishment or post-9/11 security and civil rights.

Projects that are accepted will receive funds, ranging from $500 to $5,000, in the form of either stipends or travel expenses support. Both independent journalists and those employed by a news organization are eligible. The Justice and Journalism Fund is supported by the Ford Foundation.
